All our testing is carried out in accordance with: The Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice.
PAT testing is regarded as the best way to meet the electrical regulations which exist to protect tenants, employees and customers, as if an electrical accident were to happen due to a portable appliance being faulty, you could end up in a difficult situation.
Increasingly insurance companies are stipulating portable appliance testing as a necessary condition of insurance on most businesses. If there was a fire and the management in a company could not show that a regular PAT testing had been carried out, some insurance companies could take this into account when arriving at settlement figures.
However if you are a landlord or business, with our regular programme of inspection and testing you can have peace of mind that you have taken reasonable steps to ensure the safety of your users.
We understand that appliances have to be unplugged to be tested, and we try to keep any disruption to a minimum, however if your appliances cannot be turned off whilst your business is open, we will carry out the testing out of your normal working hours at no extra charge.
We offer a FREE site survey (within the Fylde Coast), FREE quotation and a FREE microwave test and all our clients will receive after test completion, an appliance itemised traceable report, as well as a test certificate.
This certificate can be displayed in your place of work to show that the appliances have been professionally tested for electrical safety using top of the range up to date calibrated and certified Ethos 9600 equipment.
